Yes, another 10 days and another 10 paintings have been explored.

In early June, I was up in Wellington (NZ's capital city for those who don't know) where the annual NZ Art Show is held.  This was the fourth year I've been privileged to exhibit there and my most successful yet! Somehow the organisers manage to do wonderful advertising and organising of a really first-class event year after year. Thank you NZ Art Show and thank you for photographing and featuring my artwork below!

Back to the 100 paintings ... you can see a few of them on my panels in the photo above and they were shown plenty of interest by both lookers and buyers.  It's made me reconsider the sizes of the paintings I do.  Usually I paint large (often panoramic) landscapes, but these small 300x300mm square paintings have been popular.  In addition, their small size encourages me to try a few things without the fear of ruining large expensive canvases.
