Day 23

This is a simple watercolour sketch done to map out a plan (composition and tones) for a larger work later this week. Doing a sketch like this is often a good idea, because I can see things that I will do slightly differently when I paint the final picture.  You'll be able to compare this sketch with the painting in a few days.  I laughed when I saw the photo I'd taken as there is a gloss on the work because it was obviously still wet when I put it up to take the photo.

We're really on the countdown now ... only 7 more pieces of work and we will be finished for June.  :-)
