All lined up and ready to go

Look at those pastels and paints ... they're begging to be let loose on the canvas.

In just two days time, they will!

I'm meant to be concentrating on housework today, but playing in my studio is getting in the way ... what a shame!  Well, I have done the washing and a few other things but vaccuuming and bathrooms must be done this afternoon. After a good frost this morning, it's now such a lovely sunny day here that I'll make myself some lunch shortly and bask for an hour or so in the sun. I think that the word 'bask' could be exchanged for 'procrastinate' in this instance.

Nevermind, there will be lots of production soon and I'm sure that the housework will still be there waiting for me. It has been every other time!

So, until tomorrow ... are you On Your Marks?

Ruth for those who havent guessed already ,is a multitasking, super organised, mass producer of art and produce, creative entrepeneur ,amonst many other super woman qualities, and as hard she might imagine she is one of us procrastinaters as she sits in the sun with her cuppa, theres nothing anywhere close to pracrastinater in her, so dont be fooled!! Here endeth the revelation.

'as we let our own light shine, we unconciously give other people permission to do the same.As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others' - Nelson Mandela

Thanks Ruth . When I read this , and the rest of the quote by Nelson (which is on the back of the toilet door)!! I think of you!
You are an inspirational woman, so keep shining your light!!

You made me laugh Sue!

I'm very human and for your information ... the vacuuming didn't get done! I must have 'basked' in the sun too long.

I hope you have a great time at Tim's and get to meet some of the Dunedin artists who are doing this challenge.

I'll be busy working at Olveston on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday... doing housework in that gorgeous historic home provides much inspiration which will come out during the month in photographic design pieces.

I often think about the treasures in Olveston and the special tour I had through there. Thank you so much Jenny.

The coal range was my favourite and I might have a go at painting it in June.

I'm looking forward to seeing what your creative energy produces from your photos Jenny. I wonder if I'll recognise anything without explanations.
